Got called in front of class and being called a 奸商, basically asshole businessperson. Then I was administered 20 strokes of the cane to the palms. Then I had to refund the money. I was 8.

Imagine an 11 yrs old boy who is asked to read a passage of a book. He gets up and starts to read in front of the class. Contrary to others, this boy is reading with his heart. He loves this book and he seems proud to share it with his classmates. But the old teacher interrupts him after only the first paragraph. He ask the boy to read some words again even though he read them loud and clear. After two paragraph, the teacher stops him again and says "Who are those characters, those places ? What kind of nonsense is this ? It's enough, go to your desk" The boy closes his book and go sit down. The teacher doesn't know this but the boy had no friends and his reaction to the boy's reading gave the entire class another reason to think of him a misfit. That boy was bullied all throughout high-school. The book he read was The Lord of The Rings. That day I learned that I was going to be a misfit all my life but now I don't allow other to shut me off, I keep reading.

2 memories: in 1st grade, I was six, shit my pants, was excused to go to clean up and was provided with spare uniform pants by the infirmary, went to class and immediately shit myself again, class teacher was pissed. 2nd time was in 4th grade, around 10 years old, went to the teachers desk to have my homework corrected, had coins in my pocket to buy snacks after school, was fidgeting with them with my hands in my pocket, the noise irritated my teacher and he delivered the single hardest slap I have ever received in my life, in front of a class of 40, this was in India in a public school so teachers beating students is no anomaly.

Some of my teachers who either hated me or the so called experts in their domain who did everything in a way that only the absolute best could easily do completely disregarding the fact there are people who we're much weaker in that specific domain
