With RP oil and filters I've gone as far as 15,000 miles w/o the oil monitor going off.

They do not get any better than Royal Purple filters. If you are using extended life oil in your vehicle you need this filter brand to go along with it. Don't do a half a ** job. Put the good stuff on and in and do it right and foget about it.

Just switched to this filter for my 2017 Mustang GT. Good fit and seems to be a well built filter.

Over the past 30 years, and with owning various cars and trucks, Royal Purple oil filters have provided the best and longest filtering. This filter does not use the traditional paper core. The microfiber technology and material is worth every penny.

I have to admit, I am a bit of a geek, often "over-analyzing" minor things like what my foot-pounds of torque are at various RPM stages and comparing my power band arc to other similar makes and models. That said i did some analysis into what oil would do well with my car. I wanted to make sure that I didn't choose just "any" synthetic oil, after all there are still different levels of quality when it comes to Synthetic oils as well. In my opinion the oil and filter you put in your car is one of the single most important things any car owner can do. Here are my before and after calculations to Synthetic, Given: I drive a Ford Edge Sport Edition (this is the same Engine as the Lincoln MKX) Before Running OE conventional Oil: City MPG 18 / Hwy MPG 21 After Switching over to Synthetic High Performance: City MPG 18.7 / Hwy MPG 24 (holy crap!) Improvement: City 3.8% increase / Hwy 14.3% *Note: My wife often says I drive like a bat out of hell, so keep in mind your results may vary from mine.

Extended Service compatible. You pay for what you get in this case very well made filter I might add this filter is noticeably heavier than Motorcraft and the Wix filters I use to use till I starting seeing more and more with made in China on the box I will stick with royal purple filters and Amsoil from now on.

I’ve been using Royal Purple oil and filter for my 2012 F150 for a few years now. I read great reviews for it online and decided to give it a shot and haven’t looked back. I am able to get about 10,000 miles out of a single oil change and this oil filter helps make that happen by making sure the oil stays clean for that many miles. I don’t think I’ll ever use another brand again. Great performance and a reasonable price.

This oil filter was heavier empty than the OEM filter was after it was drained. This leads me to believe that it's well made and will hold up to a high performance engine. I'm thinking synthetic oil......use a synthetic filter. If you have a car you want to spoil a little this make sense. They are twice as high as a regular oil filter. Maybe three times if not on sale.

Works well with the other Royal Purple products I buy.

Bought this hesitantly. I've always used fram filters and Valvoline oil. Recently I've noticed at oil change intervals that the oil has been very dirty. More so than normal. So I decided to buy this filter and give it a try. After about half the life of an oil change I checked the dipstick and to my surprise the oil is as clean as the day I put in the new oil. It was so clean in fact I had to look closely to the dipstick to find the oil line. I will update if anything changes but as of right now I am sold that a better quality filter is definitely worth the investment
