Làm sạch, cắt cá hồi thành từng miếng bằng nhau, vừa ăn. Đặt cá hồi vào một chiếc đĩa nông.
Đổ 3 muỗng canh nước tương vào một chiếc chén. Thêm 1 muỗng canh dầu mè và 1 muỗng canh đường nâu vào.
Nạo một ít vỏ cam và vắt nước cam vào chén nước tương. Khuấy đều để đường tan.
Salad gồm: Rau chân vịt rửa sạch, bắp cải tím rửa sạch, cắt sợi nhỏ. Cà rốt gọt vỏ, rửa sạch, cũng cắt sợi nhỏ. Trộn đều chúng với nhau trong một đĩa to.
Đổ 1/2 lượng nước sốt vừa trộn ở trên lên đĩa cá hồi. Trộn đều và để ngấm trong 15 phút.
Trong khi chờ ngấm, trải giấy bạc lên trên khay nướng, phết lên trên một ít dầu ô liu. Xếp cá hồi lên trên khay nướng.
Cho vào lò nướng trong 4-6 phút ở nhiệt độ trung bình. Tiếp tục lấy ra, đảo mặt và nướng thêm 4-6 phút nữa. Sau đó, lấy khay cá hồi ra để vài phút cho nguội.
Xếp cá hồi vào chính giữa đĩa salad và đổ hết 1/2 phần nước sốt cam còn lại lên trên.
Trang trí bằng cách rắc hạt mè trắng rang, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối và 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu (tùy thích). Vắt thêm nước cam trước khi thưởng thức.
